Before I share them, lets talk about network marketing for a bit. If you are in, you already know so many benefits to it, but if you are not, it’s worth mentioning them. There are so many reasons to join, especially end of the year to get tax benefits, leveraged income and having an additional stream of income.

Network Marketing is a business tuned upside-down (in a good way), meaning cutting down the middle men. It is bringing the product or service directly to a consumer, without costs of storage, delivery from warehouse to store, shelving, staff or marketing like it would be in a traditional business. It simply pays customers for recommending products they like and use.

We do the same thing if we like a certain restaurant, a shampoo, a movie, only this time we get a referral commission too and our friends can as well if they refer other people. It is a “word of mouth” advertising, the most popular advertising. I owed a traditional business in the past and my business truly took off once I started getting clients from referrals and not just from efforts of direct marketing.

Skepticism and Bad Rep

  • Skepticism– there’s a a lot of skepticism around network marketing industry. I used to be skeptical about it too. Coming from the spa industry as a licensed esthetician and massage therapist of 20 years, I always had high standards for products. I was always following trends to what’s newest and best out there. And when I was introduced to the product I’m working with now, it shocked me. I was very wrong thinking that the product wouldn’t be meeting the highest standards. It is actually a scientific breakthrough backed by peer reviewed studies too.
  • Bed Rep– It is not the network marketing industry, it is the network marketers that give the industry a bad rep. It is not their fault. Anyone can join the business because there’s just such a little point of entry. They start and then talk with friends and family, untrained or with very little training. It is usually with lots of hype that doesn’t work. Their friends and family starts running away from them… Social media makes this even worse as instead of talking with few people, you are in front of billions. It is crucial to learn skills, invest the time and possibly some money to do so.

 

7 Tips for successful 2022

  1. Master Mindset- 95% of your success comes from your mindset. Invest 1 hour every day doing a personal development.
  2. Master Network Marketing skills- There aren’t many, only 7 as Eric Worre says in his book Go Pro. It is a must read for anyone getting started in this industry. I make sure everyone in my team has got it and has read it. The 7 skills are Finding Prospects, Inviting, Presenting, Following Up, Closing, Promoting Events and Getting The Newest Person Started. If you are brand new in the industry you probably should spend most of your time on the first 2, finding prospects and inviting. And if you already have a team and would like some help with getting the newest person started, my FAST LANE FORMULA will help you with that.
  3. Social Media- This is a MUST for 2022. As business owners we need to be quick to adopt, and adopting right now means learning online marketing. This is where I’d invest most time and money.

  5. Consistency- So crucial, yet so many network marketers suffer from the lack of it. I used to be one too. I would start-stop, start-stop my business and it would go no where. The one mentor that taught me the most about consistency is Ray Higdon. He runs a Facebook group for network marketers called RANK MAKERS and if you follow all the daily steps, you will get consistent in no time.
  6. Stay in the game- You have to give this some reasonable time frame. What if it takes you 10 years? Would it still be worth it?
  7. Having a plan for personal and skill development- Have it scheduled in your day/week. Work on one skill at the time. Strive to be 1% better every day.
