As promised… here are the 3 things all successful marketers do daily
1. Consistency with DMO
DMO or daily method of operation is crucial. Do you have yours in place? There are 2 things important about it. The first one is if you are consistent. Consistency is supper important, without it you are constantly starting and stopping your business.
But the second thing is really giving us clarity if we are consistent with the right activity. Are you doing all the things you are told to do and feel like you are spinning your wheels? Doing the WRONG things consistently and you aren’t seeing results, can drive you insane.
Einstein said:
“Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is a definition of INSANITY!”
So what is the effective DMO? For me I realized after 2 years of doing cold market prospecting, messaging strangers to see if they are “open to look” at what I’m doing, didn’t take me where I wanted to go and definitely not fast enough. You go through insane amount of messages only to get a few that are interested.
In Attraction Marketing Bootcamp, I learned how to have highly qualified prospects come to me. That was a game changer. Now I have a DMO that I enjoy AND I have a life.
2. Self-development
We need to spend AT LEAST 30 minutes every day in personal development. It is very important because 95% of our success is our mindset. It matters how we start and how we finish our day.
There is also quite a bit of OLD PROGRAMING, limiting beliefs that we carry. They can be not feeling worthy of success, fear of failure AND fear of success, I’m not good enough, I’m not educated enough, I’m less than….
We all have those, and those are just beliefs. The good news is- beliefs can be changed.
I share a personal limiting belief that “I am a failure”
My dad was an entrepreneur and I watched him LOSE IT ALL, Million dollars in debt, lost his cars, home, everything. And I only dipped into entrepreneur and “failed”. Because of this I thought FAILURE IS FINAL.
Sara Blakely, a self-made billionaire and a founder of Spanx (I couldn’t remember her name or brand in my video, so I’m correcting it here), their normal Friday night dinner conversation was what did she fail at that week. Very different than mine.
3. Skill development
Now let me ask you…. how do we become good at something? It’s by study and practice, right? Yet some network marketers NEVER work on developing their skills. If we want our business to grow, we got to grow.
Over the years, I’d strategically pick what skills I am looking to develop and I would find the right courses, coaches and mentors who can help me with it and then implement what I learned.
Then you move on to the next skill….
Right now all my focus is on automation. I already learned how to attract, influence and enroll using organic social media methods. And now I’m learning and implementing automation. I’m very excited about that, because more time I can have for me and my family the better and business is being built on AUTOPILOT.
