So your company JUST LAUNCHED a new product…

And you’d like to use that as an opportunity to re-launch your business and build a new team? That is a great idea! Remember how excited you were when you first became a customer and a rep for your products, you were super excited and wanted to tell the world.

A new product launch is a perfect opportunity to borrow some of that excitement and get your business into momentum. In this episode I’m talking about the exact steps to take when you are re-launching with a new product.  Watch this video first:

The company I am partnered with JUST LAUNCHED a new product and this had been the most successful campaign ever. We are all so excited. This is why I wanted to share with you the exact steps we did to make our launch so successful.

It was kept as a SECRET until the day of it’s launch and we had to be there LIVE so we get the information and products first hand. All we had was testimonies of people who were in pre-trial and those were quite incredible and enough for us to announce what’s coming. Talking about this, I will share with you the exact 6 steps to a successful product launch. So here they are:

 

6 steps to successful re-launch with a new product

1. Anticipation

First in the pre-launch phase, we want to create a lot of anticipation, “buzz” for what’s coming. We share early testimonials and are inviting our audience to follow us into a launch when we will reveal the new product.

2. Reveal

Now that the product is revealed, tell them what it is and create excitement about you using it. Share benefits of it but without mentioning company or the product name. You want to create curiosity and you are the only resource for the info, they have to ask you. Use all available channels to promote it. Do a live video, post in stories, profile and all social media channels that you run.

3. Inform

Just because you are blasting this on social media, not necessarily everyone is going to see it, so anytime you launch something new, you got to: win the old, upsell the existing and acquire new.

So first you’d want to inform your old customers and distributors and why this is something they need to hear. Next you inform your existing customers and share how adding this into their routine can give them benefit. Lastly, you want to acquire new. Hopefully in the pre-launch phase, you were putting people on the “first to know” list because they showed interest. Now you want to reach out to them and anyone else who is engaging in your posts.

4. Marketing campaign

You need to have a clear marketing plan you are following and that should include posting in your stories every day. In our team we have 6-7 story sequences already made that we can use.

5. Engage

Now engage in conversation with everyone who likes, comments, votes on your poll or even sees your story. You can start a conversation thanking them for engagement and ask them a question. Your new sales will come from this audience.

6. Share your journey

The last step is to be a product of the product. Document your personal journey with it and create a testimonial to share. If results are visual, take before pictures before getting started. If it’s a way it makes you feel, monitor all the changes closely. Your story needs to show a before and after. Your personal story will be the most powerful.
