Is Facebook dead? You may be wondering…
The answer is NO! It is still the best social media platform to build a community. And on contrary what other people say, you can successfully grow your business ONLY on Facebook.
1. Start with WHO
You need to be clear on who you are looking to attract. In Attraction Marketing we teach you that “NOT everyone is your prospect.”
That means you’ll have to pick your niche. Your niche doesn’t have to be around what your products or company does. It can be your interests, your hobby, specific health issue, lifestyle, profession or simply being a mom.
So the people you are building a community about would also likely be interested in your products and joining your business too.
2. Facebook organic funnel
We are going to talk about Facebook organic funnel. When you think of a funnel, I want you to imagine it having 3 parts: the top, middle and the bottom.
The top of your funnel is where your leads are coming in. In Old School Network Marketing you are filling the top of the funnel by prospecting. And in Attraction Marketing the top of the funnel is how you are attracting people.
The middle of the funnel is where you build influence and provide value.
And the bottom of the funnel is where conversations and conversions happen.
You got to have all parts of the funnel working in order to move people through it. If one part is missing, likely you are not enrolling new customers and business builders.
3. How does this funnel work?
The top of the funnel
is your COLD market, people that you don’t know. You have to ATTRACT prospects to you. This can be done actively, passively or leveraged.
Now there are a few ways how your content can be seen in front of people you don’t know. You can actively reach out to people and make connections. Another way is by posting and connecting inside different interest groups. Short form videos like Reels are also shown to your cold audience. And lastly when your content is shared it will get in front of new audience too, friends of your friends.
The middle of the funnel
is making sure that prospects that you bring in stay and watch your content. You are now warming them up from totally cold.
It is super important how your profile looks and that will determine if they will stay or not. Think of your bio, last 5 posts, your profile picture. Make sure it’s not looking “spammy”.
The other big component of the middle is the content you post. Is it valuable?
The bottom of the funnel
This is your stories and your messenger. The idea is to move prospects through the levels and end in a conversation. This will then end in conversion.
4. The groups
Think about who your target market/niche is. I hope that you decided on that at this point… And you would want to join different interest groups in that niche. Join at least 10 groups, big or small.
You will probably end up liking and engaging in one or two in the end. Introduce yourself to the group but don’t make that post into a pitch. Just share a little info about you, why you are excited to join and what kind of value you will share.
Be that person that besides admin is always there to answer questions. Answer questions even that you don’t know the answer too, by just googling it if you can. Be friends with the admin. Don’t fight them!
After a while you will become that valuable resource. People will want to follow you from the group and see what you are about.
Now you can have private conversations. Also if you have your own group, likely they will want to join you.
Don’t post and directly promote your opportunity or your products inside the group, that can come later in a private message after you gain their trust.
I suggest spending 15 minutes every day inside the group, two times per week posting a valuable post and a question for engagement. On other days just answer people’s questions and engage in comments.
This is how you will grow audience and influence using Facebook groups. Not by pitching and poaching in there…
5. Doing Reels
This is a must! See back in 2016, 2017 when I got started Live video was it. You could start a video and be viewed by hundreds and thousands of people at once. All strangers. Facebook favored it.
Now the algorithm changed and your lives are only being shown to people already connected to you. You should still do them. Long form content is what brings value to people who already follow you.
In 2023 it is Reels that Facebook favors. Take advantage of that because who knows what is the next big thing and for how long your content will be put in front of large audiences.
I suggest making 1 Reel every day. Especially if you don’t like reaching out to people and would like to attract them more passively, then doing Reels is the thing.
It took me 6 hours to do my first Reel…
Don’t be discouraged. There is a learning curve to it all, but once you get it, you can be creating Reels 14 days in advance.
I just did this and also shot 4 YouTube videos for the whole month of content.
In my team…
When a new person joins my team, we give them the Attraction Marketing Blueprint. They learn how to attract their first customer in as little as the first 48 hours of joining.
