Here are 7 Practical Tips for Moms Who Work From Home and Homeschool:

1. Donā€™t get distracted- it maybe laundry, dishes, cooking or my favorite house looking a mess! Itā€™s easy to want to start cleaning, but that might distract you from your work and you may end up catching up at night.

2. Get organized- have a plan, schedule, a routine for your kids. Encourage independence. Have older ones help younger ones. Do majority of work during nap time. Have designated school and play area for them and when your workday is over, schedule you and them timeā€¦It can be as simple as going on a bike ride or a walk.

3. Plan ahead- make a schedule the night before, wake up an hour earlier and get some work started before they wake up.

4. Have an appropriate place to work that is not a sofa. I have mine where I can have privacy, but Iā€™m also able to supervise.

5. Be flexible- not everything will go the way you plan.

6. Take small breaks- when you or kids need them.

7. GET HELP! Seriously, donā€™t be ashamed to ask for help. If you need someone to jump in and watch the kids, do the laundry, cook or clean- it can be extremely worth it.
