Mastering Social Media Recruiting

Have you mastered social media recruiting yet? Or maybe you are STILL feeling like you’re spinning your wheels.

ESPECIALLY if your upline is still using old recruiting tactics that are working offline but are not being effective on social media.

Building your network marketing on social media effectively is like a “Gold Rush” of  21st century. You want to get the most gold. And I am going to share with you 5 essential steps to recruiting on social media.

How to do it right without spamming, begging, manipulating or pestering anyone to look at your business presentation… If you do it right, you’ll never have to feel self-shame, embarrassment, or rejection ever again.

Here are 5 Essential Steps To Social Media Recruiting

1. Pick your hub

Pick one social media platform where you’ll be spending most of your time on. This can be Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn or any other.

I just named the mot popular ones and that I use.

The most popular one and the one we in Attraction Marketing recommend is Facebook. The reason for that it is still the most popular and has all needed features to effectively communicate and build your business using it.

Consider your platform based on your Target Market or the audience you are trying to reach.

Also, consider what type of content you will be posting. Is it short form videos, long live or recorded videos or is it long posts with pictures.

2. Build your business presence

Now design your profile that it looks professional and business like. Choose a profile picture that is a good quality of you and smiling. You don’t have to go crazy and hire a professional photographer for this or anything, but make sure it’s an image of you. Don’t share your family or your dog there, that can be on your cover photo or in your featured albums.

Remember your profile picture, bio and the first 5 posts are the first impression when people land on your page. It cannot be spammy with your products posted all over the place, but showing your business presence. Do post value based posts around your product’s benefits without showing them directly.

3. Create and build your audience

Your audience is your Target Market and you got to be very specific. Check out my How To Find Your Niche blog to figure out how to find and build your Target Market.

Again, it is not about posting about your products but value that your audience needs and wants.

This step is the most important because: “Not Everyone is Your Prospect.”

4. Post interesting and entertaining content

Now we are building value for your audience on your page. Post a mix of entertaining, lifestyle with educational and fact based content.

You have to be consistent. On Facebook I suggest posting 1-2 times per day max. I post a Reel every day so for me is one Reel and one other post every day. Usually I even skip that one post on the weekends if here’s nothing going on…

“Less is more” and focus on the quality of your post with info and good quality images rather than quantity.

Posting more times was effective years ago but now timeline is more restricted and selective to what they will show. It will always be most engaged and great quality content first.

Now you are building a community of like minded people.

You also want to share in your stories. It’s your behind the scenes that people want to know. Post there 4-6 times per day at different times. Even if you like to share what you’re eating for breakfast, lunch and dinner, people want to see that in your stories.

Just post random shots of what your day looks like.

Again, I need to stress, don’t post about your products or your opportunity. But you now want to engage with your audience as much as possible. Reach out to them and have genuine conversations.

Build those relationships!

Also go on profiles of the ones who like and comment on your content and engage on their stuff, leave meaningful comments there.

The goal is to build and grow your audience and at the same time boost engagement with that audience.

5. Advertise & Promote

Now, you will only advertise and promote your business only to your warm market, people who you are already engaged with and are following your posts.

The best way I know to do this is not directly posting about your products or opportunity, it is by creating something called a Lead Magnet.

Lead Magnet is a value based content you offer for free in change for your prospect’s contact information.

It will then lead your prospects on to a list that you own and control. You don’t own any of your social media channels and they can be taken off tomorrow with you losing everything. Start building your email list as soon and as early on your network marketing journey as you can.

In the beginning your Lead Magnet will be very simple and all you need is a simple website with a few pages. The next thing you need is something called Email Autoresponder that will capture your contacts and their email addresses for you automatically.

Once you master these 5 steps…

Now you can start creating campaigns using social media to attract interested prospects to come to you. You can pretty much automate your recruiting. This is where it gets really exciting. It is what I’m doing right now so I am almost building my business completely on autopilot.
