Meet Josie, I had a pleasure to interview this amazing lady Josie Tong. She’s a leader in our home based business, originally from Philippines and now living in Sydney, Australia with her 2 daughters.
She had that BREAKING POINT at age 46 when she realized that she can no longer work 40-60 hour days. Then she got diagnosed with breast cancer and also realized that she completely missed time with her daughters growing up….
Here is her story and our full interview:
Josie decided to leave her amazing nursing career and start a network marketing business… Well not quite like that. She wanted to use the products.
Business came naturally. Because if you are using products and having a great result, you want to share them with your friends. You also want to share opportunity because there are so many moms that are looking for sustainable income and flexibility to work from home so they can be home with their kids.
2 Main Things Stopping Moms To Start
There are 2 main things, objections, that moms have when it comes to starting a home based business and those are:
- “I don’t think I can do this, I have no experience”
- “I can’t sell, I’m not a sales person”
EXPERIENCE– We all started at one point with 0 experience. After you finish school and start a new job, you start with no experience. The great thing about network marketing business model is: your leadership team is incentivized to help you. They want you to win. There’s nothing like having a genuine support and a good community of other people working towards the same goal.
NOT A SALES PERSON– What people mean by this is “hard sales”, no one likes to be sold. This is nothing like that, it’s all about genuine connections, helping others, asking them first if they are open to taking a look. Sometimes it is not for them and sometimes the timing is just off. There’s nothing salesy about you asking if someone is open to taking a look at a way to improve their life in some way.

With the help of social media, there’s never been easier than now to build a global business. You can reach people all over the world without ever traveling there.
Over the last 5 years, my business grew to 11 markets. This is especially important now as we are in this pandemic with lots of countries like Australia closed for all travel still.
How we build GLOBALLY
Here are a few tips on how to do it.
- Join common interest groups
- Ask a friend who they know in a different country
- Look for influencers with large networks, they will help you with referrals too
- Learn how to stand out on social media
