You need to stop posting directly about your products and services. This is repelling people instead of attracting the.
Have you ever noticed that when you post this way you get very low engagement. Nobody likes to be sold. That’s exactly how people feel when they see posts like this in their feed.
5 things on what you should post:
Let’s go over those right now…
PROBLEMS– think about what kind of problems your target market has. You can post and write more about the problem and it’s roots. This can be funny and entertaining or educational. It doesn’t always have to provide a solution either. People like talking about their problems as crazy as that sounds. “They want to talk more about their crab grass than their weed killer.”
PAINS– What are things that keep them up at night? What gets them stressed? You probably know this because usually your target market is you before you found a solution.
WANTS/DESIRES– What are their goals? What do they dream about? Here you can share experiences… They can be simple as spending a day at home with kids because you can. It can be travels, fun activities, things a little extra money can buy… it doesn’t always have to be about you either. Do you know anyone who has won an incentive trip, rank advanced or won a free car? Have you attended an inspiring training and learned something new? Share it.
DREAMS– Now dive a bit deeper. Get vulnerable if you can and share your story of overcoming with them. Share your wildest goal too. What you most think and talk about usually comes about. This is a great opportunity to share your favorite quote and why it resonates with you. Share people who inspire you the most too.
QUESTIONS– What type of questions are they asking? Hang out in groups and pages where they do and observe. Come up with most common questions. Then plan your content around answering them. The best way to do this is in a form of live video. Video will help you grow following the most and people will feel like they know you because they hear your tone, your expressions. So many times I met someone in person, I felt like I already knew them.

Do a little exercise…
On a sheet of paper write down these 5 things and make 5 columns. Write down EVERYTHING that comes in mind. Write as many things as you can. This sheet will help you so you will never run out of content. And your content is going to be done in a way that is helping your target market and establishing you as expert, someone they will come to when they need help.
