So today we are going over 3 key things you need to focus on to grow to a full-time income and above.
Last week I shared a story on how I paid the last 2k I owed and now we are debt free except mortgage. I went from working 6 days a week, making less than what my bills were, borrowed from 401k, maxed credit cards and even went into collections.
It feels great now not worrying about finances and be able to do all the fun things as a family like go to the beach, travel, eat out and enjoy life.
3 Things To Focus On
BRAND
When you think of brand, we often think Starbucks, McDonalds, Coca Cola… those brands are well known and don’t need to be discovered. They can post their logo, and everyone knows what it is. The idea of marketing this way is to have us think of them when we want coffee, when we are thirsty or hungry.
What about your company, is it that well known? The idea of all reps promoting and branding the company doesn’t work if you are looking to grow your business.
It is the same how we used to open mail over a garbage bin for all the junk mail we used to get. Posting about your products and company all over social media is a modern way of junk mail.
So you may think what should you be promoting instead…
Your brand needs to be YOU, you are your brand. Create following around what you like, what you stand for and what you value… this way you will have people know, like and trust you and therefor want to join you and buy from you.
You speak to the struggles and problems you had and have now overcome. You are always one step ahead of someone else…
SYSTEMS
If you don’t have the system, you don’t have leverage. You work alone because the team doesn’t know what to do to create results independently.
Systems will save you time. Imagine having a library of content you can point to every time someone has a question. The main reason people quit is they don’t see results in their business within the first 90 days. You can help your team get started fast and independently.
You may wonder what do you need systems for.. I’d say for everything. Fast start, how to get a new person started, how to share 3rd party tools, how to brand themselves on social media.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Knowing and mastering social media is crucial in our business today. Over the last couple of years, the way we operate business has changed forever. This is not a wait it out thing. Everything is becoming digital and if you don’t stay current with times you are going to struggle.
You have to learn how to grow following both organic and through paid ads too. This is how all businesses market today. There is no reason network marketers should stay behind. Learning this will save you so much time that you can spend with your family because you will automate lots of things.
Doing one channel is ok. What I recommend is to pick 3. Mine are Facebook, Instagram and Tik-Tok. You may think it’s too much but when you think about what’s hot right now are short 15 second videos. They are a way to grow your following the fastest.
You can share 1 piece of content on 7 different places: Instagram reels, Instagram Feed, Instagram Stories, Facebook Reels, Facebook Stories, Tik-Tok, You Tube Shorts…
You can even use them as catchy ads. I will talk more about social media in one of my future posts.
