Have you ever ran or were a part of a 90 day run before?

I’m curious to know how did that go…. if most of the team finish and kept the enthusiasm the whole time or they soon quit? All of the sudden you are looking and cannot find them as if they went into a whiteness protection program. You are not the only one if this has happened to you. So you probably participated in a 90 day run or even had one for your team. I’m not sure if your experience was as frustrating. You follow along, do all the tasks but the results are not what you expected them to be. And what happens after all that hard work for 90 days….. there comes another one.

This usually leads to burn out, quitting and you wondering if all this hard work was worth it. The 90 day runs do work but the results are very short term and you’d have to do them over and over. They put a lot of pressure to your team and what they want is a simple routine they can do daily around their busy schedules and life. That is more a long term game.

The question is: do you want to keep recruiting a new team or you want to keep your existing team happy and grow leadership.

Lets break down the 90 day run.

It usually goes like this:

First 30 days is RECRUITING. The goal is to get as many new team members to join. Then you have this bunch of people all starting at the same time and that creates a momentum. After doing this for so long I came to realize HOW EXHAUSTING this is.

The next 30 days is about TRAINING your new team members and getting them onboarded.

The third month is DUPLICATION. Here’s when you are sharing a story and excitement on what happened during the first 60 days and you recruit more together with your team. You go back through your list and reach out to the ones who were on the fence and didn’t join hoping that one of these new stories will inspire them.

In reality, that duplication doesn’t always happen. Everyone in your team comes to the point to when they think if they want to spend every second of the day to work their business.

Now let’s talk about 80%-er’s

Did you know that about 80% of people on your team don’t have an ambition to grow a big business. Some of them are to make some extra money, some to pay for their product and some to travel and go to events, be social. It’s not about the money for them at all.

So when you are doing these 90 day runs 80% of your team will feel like it’s not for them, they are not good enough, they are not worthy and you will lose them. Imagine, you are alienating majority of your team. You are then running with runners, but it’s just a matter of time when they will also stop running.

Saving the time

At one point it became about saving time for me. I felt like I was spending way too much time building my business that it was taking away from my family and all the other things I enjoy doing. I was working A LOT on the weekends because during the week I had less time because of work.

One day my husband came home from work and said: “It’s a nice day, we should go to the beach”. And I said YES! I thought to myself there had to be a better way to do this.

And when I found this new way, I spend 2 hours maximum on the weekends and 1-2 hours during the week. That was a life changer. I am way more effective with my time.

What I’ve built for my team

Here’s what I’ve built for my team so we don’t have to do 90 day runs anymore. I don’t have to do lots of 1 on 1s.

When my new team member joins they have 30 day onboarding system. They get an email every day telling them what training to watch and what to post on social media that’s already created for them. By the time they complete 30 days, they will know what to do, have knowledge about the company, products, systems and compensation.

After they complete this, they get into my Fast Lane Attraction Marketing System training,

There they will start learning and implementing ATTRACTION MARKETING which is what I used to turn my business around. I’ve spent way over $10 000 so far learning this and now my team can benefit from it for free.

It’s a 6 weeks program that is split in 6 weekly lessons. They are like a puzzle, once you complete and implement all 6, you are a ATTRACTION MARKETING EXPERT.

After they complete this, I have a Social Media tracker for them to start tracking what they’ve learned and implement it daily until it becomes a habit. I suggest they do this straight for 90 days and see how effective and fast they will be building their business.
