Crush your goals in 2023!
We are not only going to talk about setting goals, but also achieving goals. Have you ever set a goal and after a few months it was no longer looking achievable. Then you give up and your year looks the same over and over again every year. The goal of this blog is to help you have a breakthrough year in 2023!

Here are 3 things I want to talk about when it comes to achieving goals and they are:
1.CLARITY
2.BELIEF
3.HOW
2 of them are very important, and one is not. The 2 that are important are Clarity and Belief where How is not. You don’t have to know how something is going to happen.
How I achieved my BIGGEST Goal
My biggest goal was to have a lifestyle where I can take off and spend summers in Croatia with my family. I would write that goal down, have a vision board and share it with everyone.
It came the point where it’s been 7 years since we went. I have my parents still living there and my brother with his family. As you can imagine they are not getting any younger and the fact that we couldn’t go was hurting me deeply.
What would prevent us from going was so many things… we couldn’t afford it, my husband would travel in the summer with his job, I was pregnant, just had a baby, my husband was sick then came pandemic.
But in 2021, I decided that is it. We are going!! So the first thing I did was I booked the tickets. I pushed my husband to demand vacation for a few weeks and that was it.
Because I decided and took action (booked tickets) we were closer to “we are going” then not.
Then this year we went again and spent a full month there. Now going is non-negotiable.
Another important thing I did, and you have to do that with any big goal, is I pushed through fears. My biggest fears were what if we won’t have the money or something happens where we can’t go.
Let’s talk about CLARITY
YOU HAVE TO BE CLEAR on what is it that you want. Your goal should fit in one sentence, be specific and have a time frame to when it will be achieved. Write down a goal on where you want to be a year from now.
Network marketers often say:”you need to know your why!”
In reality you don’t. Your why that makes you cry keeps you in the past. It makes you become desperate. Your WHAT is more important that WHY. What is projected to future and it programs your brain to start figuring out your HOW. It activates imagination.
Belief
You got to believe that is possible. If you set a goal that is so out there, you will be telling yourself: “yea right”. Your goal needs to be exciting and big enough to stretch you but not that it is unreasonable. I am all about big goals. My mentor Bob Proctor calls them “C-type” goals that you have no idea how you’ll achieve them.
Not knowing how is ok, but not believing it will happen- it won’t. You got to believe.
How is not important
If you have your goal written down, you are clear and believe you can achieve it- how is going to reveal itself.
Steve Jobs said:
“You Cannot Connect Dots Going Forward, You Can Only Connect Them Going Backwards.”
Connecting dots going backwards is a good strategy because you can use the knowledge on how you did it for any other goal you’re looking to achieve. Doesn’t matter if one is a personal and the other is a business goal, the strategy for you will be the same.
Once you set your BIG YEARLY GOAL, you want to break it down…
Divide the year in 4 quarters first. Break down what needs to happen in each quarter to get you closer to it. For example if your goal is to get to 6 figures, the first quarter goal can then be to make $2000 per month.
After you have your each quarter then break it down even more… to monthly. I suggest to make a detailed 1st quarter plan with all the actions you will do.
This is not a 90 days run, btw…
After every 30 days and each quarter, you want to analyze and see what worked well, what didn’t and adjust your next quarter accordingly.
Be accountable to yourself!
You don’t need tons of accountability partners. You have to keep the word to yourself. Don’t give yourself excuses if you procrastinate or become lazy.
Once you do this, you will become very consistent and consistency will no longer be a problem for you.
I just made my goal for 2023, following the exact steps I shared with you. It is very exciting. I suggest you do that now in December and start your year strong!
