 Unique Facebook feature

The reason why this episode is about Facebook and not all the social media  channels is because Facebook has this one feature. That feature can help us so much when it comes to building our network marketing business and that is- Facebook groups.

There’s groups for all different reasons and causes, and there’s millions of them. I will show you how I use Facebook groups and how you can use different Facebook groups to grow your business consistently.

What I’ll also share with you how I ranked up  and how I got $3000 volume I needed to rank up practically overnight.

How I shocked my upline

My upline lives in the UK so they are 5 hours ahead of me. We were talking and I was running for the rank that month. She said: “You ran really hard and if it doesn’t happen now, you will sure get it next month”. and she went to bed.

But I wasn’t having that. And I was like, okay, good night. Fine. I had something going on in this Facebook group and was determined it was happening. So when she woke up in the morning, the volume was there and I hit that rank.

There are different types of Facebook groups. I will share with you exactly which one was the one that I used and I’ll give you exact strategy on how you can do the same.

5 Different groups for network marketers

So let’s talk about different groups that you have on Facebook.

  1. Team groups for customers and for team members.
  2. Team group for ATM.  (I’ll explain that in a minute what ATM stands for) It is for people who are not necessarily your customers or your business partners, but people who you would like to be. Basically, you can invite prospects to those groups  as well.
  3. Value based groups. I talked about those in my Facebook live video.
  4. Training groups. That are usually paid groups that coaches and mentors use. You are paying membership and  going through a specific course or mentorship program.
  5. Pop up groups. This was the group  type that I used when I created $3000 volume in 48 hours.

1. So let’s talk about team groups.

In team groups for your team members, you’re sending announcements, you’re keeping the culture going, motivation, and  recognition. Those things are really important. They are closed groups team members only.

Same goes for the customer groups. They are only for customers. In those groups, you can introduce new products and share different testimonies.   It’s very probable your customers that are using one product will be interested in adding something else to their routine. Those are the type of groups that you can do it in. The purpose is customer retention.

Basically it’s to keep your customers. It’s for customer retention.

2. ATM groups for recruits or for customers.

You may wonder what are the ATM groups? The ATM stands for Add, Tag and Message. So you’re inviting or adding somebody new to the group. If it is for business, you’re tagging them in the information which is usually a video, opportunity presentation or a  compensation plan.

And then there is an ATM group for your potential customers. In there they will see different testimonials, stories, videos to watch, educate themselves on your products and be introduced to new  products.

Groups are excellent for  following up because our prospects  need anywhere from five to seven times before they say yes and make a decision to purchase something.

It’s instead of us, sending different messages like: “did you watch the video yet?” ,them ghosting you via messenger and it’s wasting you so much time.

When you have somebody in one of these groups, they’re seeing other people active in there, other posts. Even if you’re not doing anything, some people will make a decision to buy practically overnight while you’re sleeping, because they saw something that resonated with them.

3. Value based groups.

I talked about this in my live video on Facebook. If you’d like to see that, just message me and I will share that one with you.

There I go in more detail on how you can create a community around a specific niche and how this group can take you to the next level with your  business because you’re collecting people in your target market. That are so important.

People who join your group are interested in exactly what you have.  In them you are sharing value and also promoting your products and services.

4. Paid groups or challenges

This is what mentors or coaches usually use. You are paying membership either monthly or yearly and while you’re a member, you get to access all the trainings in there.

It’s not something for network marketers, but it’s definitely for coaches and mentors for network marketers which is what they mostly use.

5. Pop up groups.

I’ll tell you exactly what I did to gain 3, 000 in volume that I needed to get to the next rank.

You can use a pop up group for 5-7 day challenge or what I did a 24-48 hours event. This can be just you or you can do it together with your team.

This particular one was about everything I do and it was the end of month sale.  I love those because it reminded me when I used to work on cruise ships. We used to have those to rev up volume on the last days of the cruise. We would bring everything out, like our fitness gear and products that we wanted to give specials on.

And it was great. , it would just give you lots of volume for the  last day to boost up your sales.

This is why I thought this is a great idea.

I saw a friend doing it and I’m like, I’m going to do it. She told me her team was doing it on the 30th and I decided I will do it too on the 31st. It was a rush to get everything ready, but I did.

She introduced me to her group which I modeled. I was thrilled. Two people actually joined me as distributors out of which one of them joined on the highest rank.

So here’s what I did. The event was called extravaganza.

After this success by myself, we have done many with my team. And it was always really great.  Wee will showcase all of our products and as someone buys would offer rebates, free shipping and raffle too. If they are a big spender, they would get their name pit in a raffle more times.

I’d go live to thank everyone for joining and to introduce the rules and prizes. Then I would post updates every 15 minutes.

The most important thing is to make a Thank You card you’d post when someone makes a purchase.

When you do this, other people don’t want to miss out and will start ordering too.

Another thing I did…

First, maybe 12 hours, you’re talking about products and you’re selling products, but then you can introduce the opportunity. And that’s exactly what we did. So we would put like opportunity overview video. And what always worked great was our incentive trip.

I would post: “our team is going to the Bahamas. You want to come with us?” And then  would have a picture of the Bahamas and just say: Hey, everyone who, enrolls as a distributor, we often gave them a cash rebate.  I could give them 50 percent of what I would make if they join my team.

You can calculate what that would be. Check with your team members if they would be ok with cutting their commission just to get someone to sign up.

I thought to myself, Lisa’s going to be so excited in the morning…
