There was always a concern whether aluminum in deodorant could possibly be harmful. It is applied very close to the breast area, so does the alumonum and other toxins accumulate in the breast tissue? The medical experts dismissed this theory 20 years ago for lack of studies.
Aluminum
Aluminum is linked to neurological diseases, it is a possible carcinogen and does damage to the DNA and prevents it’s repair.
It is shown that it penetrates through skin and accumulates around breast tissue and dameges DNA in cells. This was shown in the recent study on mice in 2016. It is not yet clear in humans. If you’re someone like me and would rather not take chances when it comes to their health, I’d definitely start with changing my deodorant.
