Ever wondered what is the best social media platform to be on?

When it comes to this, most marketers get super OVERWHELMED. It’s not surprising at all with so many around now. You probably wonder if it is Facebook, Instagram, Clubhouse, LinkedIn, YouTube or Tik-Tok where it’s at.

The truth is, you can’t be everywhere, but you have to utilize your time spent on them in the most efficient way…. we will talk about this today here.

So which one is it then? You are going to pick ONE, just one where you will spend most of your time, probably 60-80% of your time. From that one, you will then repurpose your content to other platforms, but always drive traffic back to your ONE. Does that make sense?

What to post?

So now that you picked your primary platform and which others are going to be your supporting ones, it is time to talk about content that is most effective today.

In case you wondered how to repurpose, just think about where you can use short videos. You can post it on all platforms, in stories and even use them as ads.

Here are 3 types of posts you MUST implement right now. All the platforms have their own funnel and we can use it for our advantage. The best posts are the ones that create most exposure to new people.

On Facebook that used to be Live Video because it was shown to public. Right now the reach is much much lower and your video is mainly shown to the friends you are already connected with.

This is how come videos that used to get thousands of views, now get about a 100 if lucky. This doesn’t mean we should stop doing them, they are amazing way to build rapport with new people you are already connected with.

  2. Value driven content
  3. Stories

1. Short term video

Short term video is a must! If you are doing them-great and if you are not, it is definitely something to learn and start implementing. Think about them as free, organic strategy to ATTRACT leads to you. All platforms are now favoring short term videos.

What I do is, I create 1 video every day and then post it to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Tik-Tok.

2. Content

Real important thing is that your posts ARE NOT directly pitching your products or services. The posts that will be most attractive now are educational, entertaining and/or empowering. That is giving value. You can alternate from long, story type posts, short tips, curiosity and engagement posts.

Engagement posts are really important and I post them every Thursday. I’m posting funny posts, but those can also be questions, this or that or asking for opinion.

3. Stories

Now this is where you can post about your products amongst other behind the scenes stuff. If you can sell anywhere on your social, this is the place. Post at least 4 stories every day. Use poll on at least one of them. This brings people right into your messenger.

How is this working as a funnel? It is simple, you ATTRACT with short videos, INFLUENCE through your content and ENROLL from your stories…
