The fastest way…

Would you like to know what is the fastest way to grow your network marketing business? You probably think it is a skill. Developing all the skills is very important, but it is not what is going to get you there the fastest.

The fastest way has to do with your association, people you spend the most time with. You’ve probably heard a saying that you become an average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.

First Step

Who do you want to surround yourself with you may wonder… In network marketing, you would want to be around people who posses and are best when it comes to a certain topic. That can be social media, presenting, public speaking, connecting and growing your network, recruiting, closing… the list goes on and on. Then what you will do is model that behavior until you adopt it too.

A perfect example is one of my mentors, Cesar Rodriguez, a creator of B10XB movement, Immediate YES Formula, Reality Networker and many more unique programs.

When he first got started, he was terrible. He had straight 100 no’s when he approached his friends and family. But he was determined to figure this out and prove to them that he made it despite of all their ridicule.

One of his early mentors was a great recruiter and he watched him going to complete strangers and then bringing them into the business. He did something very BOLD and asked him if he moved to where he had a summer house, can he shadow him and watch him prospect on the weekends.

His mentor said: “Kid if you are crazy enough to do it, then I will teach you everything I know.” And that’s what he did, he moved up, watched and practiced and later became a millionaire at the age of 29.

 

Second step

Who is in your 5 matters… If they are more successful than you, that is good. If you are the most successful in your group, even though it strikes your ego, you will not grow and you’ll be pulled down. Always strive that the other people in your circle are more accomplished.

Sometimes this association is not going to be real. It may be virtual, where you are masterminding with your imaginary mentors just like Napoleon Hill explains in his book Think And Grow Rich.

Your mentors may be trainers and coaches who’s content you listen too, books, courses or seminars. It is important to feed your mind constantly with bigger and better ideas.

 

Third step

You may have to earn your way into some of these circles. In my team we are very lucky to have a 7 figure mentoring for free once you achieve a leadership level. This is HUGE. Not many companies has support and training like that.

And if you don’t, sometimes you got to get creative. Raise your hand to everything when they are asking for volunteers. For example to be a testimony on the team call, to help with a presentation, anything. Your leaders are always look for someone who is showing that they are hungry and will do anything to be successful.
