Network Marketing Recruiting

When prospecting and recruiting with social media for your network marketing business there are many pitfalls you want to avoid. I’m going to share with you what they are and what to do instead.

Watch this video to learn more.

In the video I talk about Online Marketing and the Attraction Marketing Bootcamp that is an outline on how to build your business the right way with Social Media. You can learn more by clicking the button below:

Inviting friends and family

When I first got started with Network Marketing, I was inviting my friends to an online webinar, opportunity meetings, parties, home meetings and anywhere where I can show them my business.

But my friends were not as excited as I was about my opportunity. Most of them were trying to be polite and didn’t want to give me a straight NO.

The way I was taught is that just meant “not yet” and gave me a permission to follow up with them again and again. That’s exactly what I did.

And this pissed off a lot of my friends and ruined lots of relationships too.

I was sending these long scripts about how excited I was and why I thought of them to why they should be interested too. Sometimes they would respond with whatever answer or ghost me (not respond at all).

I would be listening to coaches tell me that I probably approached all my friends and family the wrong way and that I should apologize. So I did that too…. Sent a message saying how I was new and didn’t know what I was doing back then. I wouldn’t bring my business up at all this time.

Then later I’d hear that I should follow up again because people need 7-8 touches before making a decision.

I had no idea how much I was annoying my friends and family.

It went all the way till they started avoiding me, some blocking me or didn’t want to have lunches with me. They were tired of me bringing up my business in every single conversation.

Following up

Have you ever followed up with a prospect even after they told you no, even if they didn’t respond to your messages? All because you thought maybe the timing wasn’t right or they just needed more information.

How embarrassing is it to go through your messages and seeing your long prospecting messages and follow ups they saw but never responded to. Especially if it’s someone that you know.

What you do on internet matters!

If you are doing it the wrong way, it is ruining it for everyone else.

Network marketers are being turned into spam bots by their uplines.

They created “DISPOSABLE DISTRIBUTORS” who spam their products and company all over social media. It’s making them lose all the reputation with their friends and family and even being at risk for their social media account to shut down.

Successful network marketers eventually learn the right way of building their business with social media.

“It’s not about how much you know, it’s about how much you care.”

And it is not about finding the right copy/paste message to send, it is about being valuable to people. It’s building those relationships and helping people solve their problems.

I’m not saying that prospecting doesn’t work. There are marketers who love it and have mastered this difficult skill. It is a very difficult skill to learn and most network marketers fail at it.

Are you a “spammer”?

Let’s have some fun… I’m going to share 5 things network marketers do online that are considered as spamming.

  1. Your first message to a stranger includes a link that is something about joining or learning more about your company
  2. You are getting angry replies to your messages or are even being reported as a spammer.
  3. Post links about your products or opportunity in the comments of other people’s posts or inside private groups.
  4. You compulsively want to share about your products or opportunity without anyone asking you to share first.
  5. You have a hidden agenda and want to steer every conversation to bring up your business without caring about getting to know the other person first.

I was doing lots of those things…

And I was tired of not having the results I wanted. I wasn’t enjoying the process either. But after I stopped prospecting all together, my business started to grow.

I started repairing all the broken relationships. My business didn’t have to come up during family dinner, in the grocery shop isle, with the Uber driver or a waitress at the restaurant.

Grow your business WITHOUT prospecting

You are probably wondering how did I grow my business without prospecting.

Here it is… Internet Marketing is a passive strategy and it works even if you don’t.

I hired the best mentors and coaches who have taught me this so I can passively generate leads, get customers while I was enjoying the time with my family. I learned how to leverage Facebook Ads to attract leads to me that would later become customers on autopilot.

It is called Attraction Marketing.

My FREE Attraction Marketing Bootcamp will be your first step to learn how Attraction Marketing works, how you can start attracting prospects to come to you so you don’t have to prospect anyone.

Inside the bootcamp there is also Attraction Marketing Formula book that has all the nuts and bolts that you need to successfully build your business using internet marketing.
