Attraction Marketing Isn’t….

Lot’s of times you are being told by your upline to do things that are not exactly attracting red hot ready leads to you and you wonder why. It is because you’re probably doing Attraction Marketing WRONG. But… no worries we will get you on the right track.

3 Things you’re probably doing wrong

Attraction Marketing is certainly a buzz word that gets thrown around a lot. The problem is that more times than none we are being told to do certain things that are really not Attraction Marketing. So here are these 3 things:

1. You still have to prospect!

How many times have you heard there are 2 ways to build your Network Marketing business and that one is PROSPECTING and the other is MARKETING. PROSPECTING is active and you are reaching out to people where MARKETING is passive and the prospects are reaching out to you.

So you are told by your upline and your trainers that in order to build your business, you have to do both. This is not true. If you are building the true Attraction Marketing way, you do not prospect as well.

In both there is a learning curve. You are not going to start attracting a flood of your ideal prospects straight away, there are skills you still need to learn. Same goes for prospecting, that is sales in reality, but no one is telling you that.

When PROSPECTING, you need to first find a prospect, ask if they are open, have them look at your information, present, follow up, overcome their objections, close them. It is the whole sales process, but you are told to just go and talk to everyone you know unprepared.

Because of that lots of Network Marketers crush and burn as soon as they start because they are not being trained properly on the next step in the sales process, after someone says yes or watches your video. So they come across spammy and desperate.

2. Post about your products

Sharing before/afters, new sales bungles and constantly posting about your products ALSO isn’t attraction marketing. This is often being trained by your company to do and it is completely opposite of Attraction Marketing. You are not attracting, you are chasing your prospects away.

3. EVERYONE is your prospect

You are probably being told that EVERYONE is a prospect. That you have to talk to everyone you know and everyone you meet. It’s people you went to kindergarten and school with, college, gym, church… who you know well or not well at all. You definitely need to talk to your “chicken list”. I don’t know about you, but all those things were super uncomfortable to me.

 

In Attraction Marketing you don’t have to do any of those things….

Attraction Marketing

Teaches that NOT everyone is our prospect. We don’t have to chase anyone we know or meet. Instead we build our network of a specific group of people, our “Target Market” that we choose.

Every business in the world has a Target Market, so why doesn’t network marketing? It is time to elevate our profession and treat it like a real business. When you are talking to one niche/target market you are speaking to their dreams and wants and their struggles and problems too. One thing I noticed when I implemented this is that my engagement went through the roof. The reason for that is because you are speaking their language.

I used to blame algorithm for my lack of engagement, where in reality my target market wasn’t clear.

Lead with value

You are not blasting your products on social media, but you are posting valuable content that your target market is seeking. If you position yourself as a valuable resource and post a soft CTA/Call To Action, the interested prospects will be reaching out to you for help. You become hunted instead of a hunter.

They will have a “me too” reaction to what you share, because they are relating to your stories and helpful tips.

Attract your hot ready prospect

Remember, no more prospecting. Instead we are attracting. When people enroll with you they will not feel sold, but see you as a consultant, someone who can help them. You won’t have to do any hard closing, overcoming objections and such. Instead, you are answering a few clarity questions and that’s it. They will very likely be excited and ready to join you.

 

3 Levels of Attraction

The first phase is ACTIVE ATTRACTION where you are going to be actively connecting and meeting new people, (not prospecting) just expanding your network.

Second phase is LEVERAGED ATTRACTION where you and your team both doing it. And lastly it will be AUTOMATED ATTRACTION most likely with paid ads but not necessarily. It can also be done organically using Reels or TikToks once your reach is high.
