Tips and strategies to grow your team

If you are looking to grow your team in 2023, in this episode I’m going to lay out 3 steps on what to do. Possibly you were doing things that didn’t quite work and give you results in the last year, so we are going to change that right now.

Here are the 3 steps for growing your team in 2023

Number one- BRANDING

This is not branding your products, services or company, you are going to brand YOU. It’s about what you stand for, what you’re against and what you stand for.

How we will do this, we will divide your brand into 3-5 buckets each representing one theme. They are based on interests that you have that will attract like minded people to you.

For example if you are promoting health and wellness your one bucket can be about: healthy eating, gym, yoga or sports. The second one may be family, lifestyle or travel. Then the third may be mindset… You got to pick what you are passionate about.

In return you will start attracting people to you that have the same interests, same problems they are looking for solutions. When you provide value around their interests first, more likely they will also buy whatever you recommend.

Here are my buckets I focus on:

1. family

2. network marketing and social media

3. travel

4. food, cooking and eating out,

5. inspiration, motivation and I also sprinkle in about healthy lifestyle.

The goal is to pull people in, building an audience of likeminded people who are going to be watching and following you and take your advice.

Number 2 is WHO

Who are you marketing to? In attraction marketing we DO NOT prospect EVERYONE. Everyone is not your prospect. We market to a specific group of people who have common interests and share the same struggles and wants.

You have to be crystal clear on who this target market or niche is for you. Just to be clear… your target market or niche is not your product or a company. Again it is a specific group of people who are likely going to say “me too” when you post something.\

My target market is, you guessed it, network marketers. I help them build online using Attraction Marketing

But that wasn’t always my niche. Before that, it was moms who want to make extra money working from home. Serving moms was not a really good target market for me. Yes, I am a mom but can’t say I am passionate about giving parenting tips.

What I am passionate about is my business. I’ve invested time and money learning specific skills and I love sharing what I learned.

Since that changed, my business is doing much better and I never run of new topics to cover in my posts and videos. Your niche needs to be something you are passionate about. And if you aren’t, you can always change it.

Finding your niche/ target market is a ground stone for your business when building it the Attraction Marketing way.

Number 3 is your Marketing plan

You have to have a plan! Every business has a business plan. To do this, I always start with my yearly goal. From there I break it down in quarters and then months. After each month and quarter, you want to analyze what worked and what didn’t and make a better plan.

Each quarter has a smaller target I’m looking to reach backed by actions I need to take in order to do so.

You have to have a plan to enroll customers and business builders. During the month of November we already know our sales will be high because of Black Friday. But what if you can organize mini events throughout the year to boost your revenue.

You can have a Valentine’s Day sale, Mother’s Day, get summer ready, back to school… so you will have a few strong months pushing your business forward. Think about any new product launches. Use those to grow your team. Maybe you can do a challenge, contest, giveaway…

Plan your whole year now. Put in there all the events, school breaks, holidays, any vacation plans… and then work around that to fit in your business plan.
